4 week introduction

Begin your 4 week introduction to Japanese yoga and Ki-aikido.

Join us on the first Monday of every month at 7 pm (please arrive 10 min before class).

Each session consists of two parts: Japanese yoga and Ki-aikido.

You are welcome to join us for the Japanese yoga class only, or you may attend both sessions together.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing (e.g. tracksuits).

Japanese yoga

Discover Shin Shin Tōitsu-dō – the way of mind and body unification.

Learn skills that you can apply in your daily life – including good posture, positive attitude, relaxation, meditation, stretching and breathing techniques.

Use simple and quick and simple Ki tests to experience how it feels when your mind and body work as one.

Ki-aikido

Learn Ki-aikido, a dynamic martial art for peaceful conflict resolution.

You will be introduced to basic Ki-aikido arts for self defence, including how to fall and roll safely.

To attend the Ki-aikido class you must also attend the Japanese yoga class, which provides a crucial foundation in Ki principles.


Cost for 4 weeks¹ – £25 / £15 concessions (students, unemployed) + £7 BAB insurance²
